Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 Review

Hello world, I have the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 cc bike, since about two months. I have purchased the one with latest black and white color. The bike's done with 1st free service and had clocked about 1450 kms. I am doing a short and quick review in terms of pro and cons that I have felt personally.

Pro's

1) The bike surely has one of the best looks in the 200 cc class performance bike in India. The bike does make heads turn around.
2) Handling of the bike is very good. No bumps or swinging towards left or right.
3) Excellent braking when compared to other bikes like Honda CBR 250.
4) Very good engine power. Value for money.
5) Comfortable seating position.
6) Good head light and is bright enough for night rides.
7) Smooth engine. I do not have any vibration problems yet.
8) Broad tyres are good enough for high speed cornering.

Con's

1) Very wide handle bar. I have experienced a bit of wrist and thumb pain on both hands.
2) Bike does not have a smooth downshifting gears (6,5,4,3,2,N,1). I am experiencing regular problem of gear lever being stuck while downshift from 3 to 2. Service centre has ordered a new gear lever for the bike.
3) Bike definitely needs a gear shift indicator. That could have been done in place of the useless blue Bajaj logo light that glows in the speedometer console.
4) Bike has a faulty fuel indicator.
5) Rear tyre hugger should have been in a one piece like the one in R15.
6) Bike mechanic at the service centre in Dahanu Road is not good enough.
7) Bike's horn too meek and is already crackling in two months!
8) Bike has a lot of cold start problem. Bajaj should sort out this issue.
9) Bike stalls many a times in 1st and 2nd gear in spite of enough rpm.

Hope the above review of Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is o.k. and is useful for who is planning to buy this bike. Thanks
